i mean, is the lake full of mercury? what’s happening in rabbit fall? the townspeople flashmob whenever tara’s up to something they don’t like…when she was protecting john spence they swarmed the station & burned down his freaking house! now on the scene of blackhorse’s grave they bust through police tape…and the clinic…they’re like zombies

Blackhorse leads them around. You can see why in “Berry Fast” though—they call him ‘the man that protects our culture’. The town isn’t under his spell; they really find his service and his knowledge of their practices valuable.

the town is really superstitious…it doesn’t help that blackhorse fills their heads with nonsense. tara ‘unleashing’ a plague by doing her job. would they prefer that fresh graves turn up and she doesn’t wonder who’s in them or what happens to them?
