Tara’s seeing an awful lot of spirits for a skeptic...

Tara looked gorgeous in the season premiere tonight!!
When she sees the Warrior, I think Tara’s connecting with her past in Rabbit Fall. The spirit girl that’s watching her might be her great-great-grandmother, looking out for her, she always looks like she wants to tell Tara something.

The Warrior really hates her though! Martha was saying that the spirits are trying to drive Tara away; they know who she is and why she’s there, even if Tara doesn’t know herself. The Warrior must be one of those spirits.

bunnybeliever, I agree about the Warrior, he’s trying to kill her or scare her away.

There was also the suggestion of drugs / hypnosis. Could Simon have drugged Tara somehow?

Tara is completely starting to believe. She doesn’t think she’s crazy, she’s taking all of it in stride and still doing her job and everything, but she knows what she saw. She gets kind of mad when Ollie puts “crazy” out there.

Tara doesn’t think she’s crazy, but she’s losing her marbles due to stress. it’s mass hysteria.
from Wikipedia:
“Mass hysteria typically begins when an individual becomes ill or hysterical during a period of stress. After this initial individual shows symptoms, others begin to manifest similar symptoms, typically nausea, muscle weakness, fits or headache.”
the crazy artist claimed he was hearing and seeing someone, and he passed it right along to Tara. she’s been under a ton of stress too, and she latched on to the panic. all the artist said that had anything to do with Tara was that the thing bothering him was a “warrior”, which isn’t that unusual, he seemed like he was painting Aboriginal scenes or legends or something where a warrior wouldn’t be out of place. Tara’s the one that took it to mean they were all seeing the same person.

It's nice to see Tara is starting to investigate her heritage and use some appropriate cultural practices when dealing with spiritual matters. She does a sage smudge before opening Silas Blackhorse’s grave. She pretty much believes now. She’s a healer.

She used medicine to defeat “magic” – so she may be a healer but one who uses science.
